What Amesdale means is patience. When my mothers family arrived in the Muskoka area in the late 1800’s they were tasked with clearing land and making a home and a living here. Fishing, farming and operating a sawmill were just some of the ways they did that. It took time, but they built homes and business in Muskoka.

I carry on the Muskoka tradition with slow smoked meats, prepared with all Canadian proteins, locally sourced firewood and my smokers built here in the country I love. I bring time honored techniques, with Canadian flavours celebrating our multicultural landscape.
